This policy explains what Poetica Coffee (Brooklyn, NY) collects when you use our app, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your birthday, if you choose to give it.
- Your orders, saved drinks, favorite café and wallet history (reloads, purchases and balance).
- Your settings, like notification and marketing choices.
Card details
Card payments are handled by Square. Your card number goes straight to Square, and we never see or store it.
How we use it
- To run your wallet and process your orders.
- To show your rewards.
- To help you when you contact us.
- To send marketing, only if you opt in. You can turn it off any time in the Me tab, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that run the app, like Square for payments and our hosting provider, and only so they can do that job. We may also share it when the law requires.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account in the app under Me → Delete account. You can also email drink@poeticacoffee.com and ask us to delete it. Square may keep payment records it is legally required to keep.
Changes
If we change this policy in a big way, we'll let you know in the app.
