Hi! These terms cover the Poetica Coffee app, run by Poetica Coffee in Brooklyn, New York. By making an account or using the app, you agree to them. We kept them short and plain on purpose.
Your account
- Keep your login details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- If you lose access to your account, or think someone else is using it, email us at drink@poeticacoffee.com right away and we'll help.
- You can delete your account any time from the Me tab. Deleting it removes your profile, saved drinks and app order list. Spend your wallet balance first: once your account is gone, the app can no longer show your card.
Your Poetica wallet
- The wallet is a Poetica digital gift card issued through Square, our payment provider.
- Your balance never expires, and there are no fees to hold or use it.
- You can use it at participating Poetica cafés. It doesn't work at 300 7th St or the Poetica Truck yet.
- Wallet money isn't a bank account and doesn't earn interest. It can't be swapped for cash, except where the law requires it.
Orders
- All sales are final once your order is prepared.
- If we got something wrong, tell the barista or email drink@poeticacoffee.com and we'll make it right.
- Prices include NYS sales tax at checkout, as shown before you pay.
Rewards
- Rewards and points have no cash value. You can't sell them or move them to someone else.
- We may change or end the rewards program. If we do, we'll let you know in the app.
Menu and prices
We can change the menu, prices, photos and café hours at any time. Items can sell out, and some may not be offered at every café.
The fine print
- Please use the app fairly: no fraud, no abuse, and no trying to break it. We can suspend accounts that do.
- We do our best to keep the app working, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
- These terms follow New York law. We may update them. If we make a big change, we'll tell you in the app first.
